The Magnificent Tree" is the third studio album by Belgian band Hooverphonic, released on September 26, 2000. It blends trip-hop, dream pop, and orchestral elements, creating a cinematic and atmospheric sound. On this third full-length album, Hooverphonic moves beyond the icy smooth seascape of "Blue Wonder Power Milk" and shifts into a darker, more melancholic mood. The album spawned four hit singles: "Mad About You, " "Vinegar & Salt, " "Out of Sight, " and "Jackie Cane". It remained in the Flemish Ultratop 50 for 107 weeks, marking it's strong commercial success. In 2025, Hooverphonic celebrates their 30th anniversary, and alongside this milestone, we also mark the 25th anniversary of "The Magnificent Tree.
