"Absence or lack is where the optimism of engineering and technology can meet the gaps of present reality for some and build an improved reality for everyone." - R. Shrivaths Iyengar

R. Shrivaths Iyengar has been described as many things-loyal son, affectionate brother, cheeky uncle, and proficient engineer.

But long before he had any degrees in hand, his life was engineered by his resourceful and inventive family along with a great deal of support from friends, teachers, doctors and even neighbours. This honed a mindset which helped Shrivaths navigate uneven pavements and university grounds, internships and international travel, friendships and family excursions, prosthetics upgrades and professional life.

With a wry sense of humor, keen observational skills and a generous dash of jugaad, the essays in Hitting My Stride take us from his hometown of Delhi through Paris, Providence, Redmond, and back again.
