Daly-Lipe, Patricia: - Patricia Daly-Lipe grew up on both sides of the country: La Jolla, California, and Washington, D.C., the home of several generations of her mother's family. Over the years, Daly-Lipe has written for the Evening Star Newspaper in Washington, D.C., the Beach and Bay Press including La Jolla Village News in California, and The Georgetowner and Uptowner Newspapers in Washington, D.C., as well as several magazines across the country. She has served as president of the La Jolla Branch, and later, the D.C. Branch of the National League of American Pen Women. Her presentations have covered all aspects of writing for literary groups as well as colleges and universities.
