At the instant of almost certain death for John Henning, a miracle comes into his life. Alexandra Morgan finds herself in a horrifying situation for which all of her training and experience in emergency response has never prepared her. On a rainy New Year's evening, Alexandra is headed home to spend a quiet night alone. While stopped at an intersection, the car in the lane next to her is broadsided. But for her skills as an Emergency Response Technician, John would have lost his life. After two weeks in a coma, John awakens with his past, including any memory of his fiancee Jessica, the daughter of a wealthy real-estate tycoon, erased from his mind. His only memory is that of the beautiful face of Alexandra and the way she looked at him for that split-second in his mangled Porsche. John's compulsion to be with Alexandra creates a plot for Jessica's vengeance. Will the earthly angel who snatched John from the jaws of death become the hunted, and who will survive? Livolsi scores again with a dynamic story of love and hate, lust and passion, success and tragedy that will keep the reader enthralled until the unsuspected breath-taking conclusion.
Michael J. Livolsi, a former singer/songwriter, was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1945. He spent his early years in San Diego, California, and moonlighted for several years as a singer in nightclubs. For the last thirty-seven years, he has lived in Arizona. Michael earned certifications in Human Resource Management and Business Management at Arizona State College of Business while working for a major aerospace corporation. During his tenure in aerospace, he held various positions including an eighteen year stint in Human Resource Management and ten years in Sales which provided him the opportunity to travel to several countries around the globe. Married for forty-seven years and a proud grandfather, Michael is now retired. His interests include music, exercise and enjoying quality time with his four children and eight grandchildren. Michael has always loved to tell stories and others have loved to listen. Being a writer of fiction since his retirement has brought him great joy and excitement, especially when the late hours of work writing are rewarded with the memorable endings to his novels. Michael has written three novels. His first novel "Hidden Purpose" is a captivating thriller-love story. His second novel a wonderful romantic fantasy of adventure and the third novel "The Braided Locket" a romantic mystery that shares some of the author's real life personal experiences has motivated him to press on and continue writing the many stories that are still evolving in his mind.
