So when the airplanes hit the Towers and my father made the incomprehensible decision to abandon the City for a "safer home" in Richmond VA, I became the new girl in an über hard catholic School (what I'm Jewish!) and my sensible seeming new friends turned out to be . . . well, you probably wouldn't believe me if I told you.
