New moms are getting crushed-don't let it happen to you.

Mastering the transition to motherhood in a culture vastly different from generations past requires radical candor and relentless encouragement. Heads up Mom delivers both. Whether you're a first-time mom navigating sleepless nights, or a toddler mom searching for balance, this book will help you trade overwhelm for peace, exhaustion for encouragement, and uncertainty for confidence.

You've heard the clichés:

    • "Sleep while the baby sleeps."
    • "The dishes can wait."
    • "This too shall pass."

But you don't need another platitude-you need a real guide for moms that speaks to the raw, beautiful, and challenging reality of life with baby and toddler.

With unparalleled candor and Bible-based encouragement, author Lori Arnold beautifully weaves front-line stories with expert advice. The result is a guide that illuminates the emotional, practical, relational, and spiritual shifts of early motherhood-and provides the tools to handle them on your terms.

Through lived experience + insight from the experts, Lori shows you how to:

    • Cope with the emotional roller-coaster of postpartum and early motherhood
    • Manage the transition from "Mr. & Mrs." to "Mommy and Daddy"
    • Make informed decisions about career and family life
    • Handle toddler meltdowns and daily chaos with grace
    • Embrace your identity as "Mom" without losing yourself
    • Plus, two chapters full of hands-on tips AND a bonus, customizable division-of-labor checklist to bring order to the overwhelm

This is not just another parenting manual-it's a motherhood survival guide, a faith-filled companion, and a reassuring voice reminding you that you're not alone.

Arnold, Lori: - Lori Arnold is from a small Indiana town, where her parents taught her the value of hard work, the importance of helping others, and the love of Jesus Christ. She attended Purdue University, where she competed as a 4-year division 1 varsity soccer player. After earning her MBA, Lori began her career as a researcher and capability-builder at Procter & Gamble. She then followed her passion to the National Personal Training Institute where she gained certifications in the areas of nutrition and personal training. This was truly divine intervention as Lori used this background to become a ketogenic diet guru and macronutrient wizard after her daughter was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder. Lori readily admits her education and experience did not prepare her for the role of "mom." In response, she read dozens of parenting books, over-analyzed each challenge she faced, and ultimately wrote "Heads Up Mom" to fill the gap in candid, encouraging, "front-line" information readily available for new moms. You can find out more about Lori on her website loriarnold.com where she seeks to help moms win the long-game.
