Have You Seen Jeremy Bright? - Paperback

Jocelyn "Joss" Bright is a woman in her forties. She has devoted her life to her surgeon husband and her two children. She lives in an affluent neighborhood in a North Carolina city. She wants for nothing. So why does she feel so empty?

While she has been faithful to her husband, she has had thoughts about the handsome and fit Pilates instructor at her gym. Her best friend and next-door neighbor, Charlene "Charlie" Beauregard, eggs her on, but Joss' guilt at even thinking those thoughts feels like cheating to her. Her life has become routine. She and her husband exchange the same hollow pleasantries, in the same way, every morning. One day bleeds into the next. Monotonous. Boring. Stifling.

Until one day, everything changes, and the concerns of her midlife crisis become insignificant.

"Have You Seen Jeremy Bright?" tells the story of a mother whose son has gone missing. A mother who feels as if she has failed her children, her husband... Herself. She is frantic to find Jeremy. The cops don't seem to believe that she had nothing to do with his disappearance.

She strikes out on her own, determined to bring her boy home. A witness claims to have seen her son go into the woods near the high school the day before. She retraces his steps, and comes upon a pile of leaves...

Soaked with blood.

Nearly out of her mind with fear for her child, she fights a persistent emotional condition that causes her to unexpectedly explode into anger at inopportune moments, even while she tries to care for her daughter and husband. But she won't stop till she finds her son. She won't stop till she finds Jeremy Bright.

No matter how far she has to go to save him.
