Kirk Warren Brown, PhD, is a Research Faculty member in the Department of Psychology at Carnegie Mellon University. His research centers on the importance of awareness of internal states and behavior for healthy human functioning, with a particular interest in the value of mindfulness training to enhance emotion regulation, self-regulation, and personal and collective well-being. Dr. Brown has been named among the top 1.5% most cited authors in all fields of science. He is a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science, the Society for Social and Personality Psychology, and the American Psychological Association. J. David Creswell, PhD, is the William Dietrich II Chair Professor in Psychology at Carnegie Mellon University. He conducts research on stress and coping, with a focus on pathways linking mindfulness meditation training with health. Dr. Creswell is a recipient of early career awards from the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, the American Psychosomatic Society, and the Social, Personality, and Health Network. Richard M. Ryan, PhD, is Professor at the Institute for Positive Psychology and Education at the Australian Catholic University. He is also Distinguished Professor in the College of Education at Ewha Womans University, Republic of Korea, and Visiting Professor at the Dyson School of Engineering, Imperial College London, United Kingdom. A clinical psychologist and co-developer of self-determination theory, Dr. Ryan has authored over 450 papers and books. He is listed among the world's top 25 scientists, and has been named the most cited psychological researcher.
