Hugh, Clyde: - Clyde Hugh is a recovering alcoholic from Central Pennsylvania whose journey through addiction fuels his passion for helping others. His lived experience has led him to pursue a career in addiction counseling, aiming to make a meaningful impact. Currently enrolled at Penn State University, Clyde believes substance abuse often stems from deeper mental health issues. He advocates for trauma-informed care and evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as essential for recovery. Outside of his studies, Clyde enjoys biking, hiking, ghost hunting, creative writing, and playing guitar. He shares his life with his dog, Mulligan. Contact: halfdrunkbook@gmail.com.
