Anton Chekhov has been a prominent Russian novelist and dramatist whose plays introduced a new style of realism to Russian literature. In his works, there is a strong satire on the negative side of human qualities, the inferiority. This book is a translation of Chekhov's famous play 'Uncle Vanya'. The play portrays the visit of an elderly professor and his glamorous, much younger second wife, to the rural estate that supports their urban lifestyle.
