Description
Tom Herbert pays homage to a colorful time in New York City's history--the 1950s to 1970s, when he grew up in Brooklyn and Queens. His tell-all stories span the era's cars, crimes, jobs, tenements, trends, schools, and street life. They celebrate a time when the American Dream thrived and anything seemed possible for an inner-city Irish kid.
