Description
With her father gone and her mother slipping into dementia, country teenager Gretel (Sophia Lillis) knew she needed a safe home for herself and her younger brother Hansel (Samuel Leakey)... so she accepted lodging from the seemingly kindly crone Holda (Alice Krige). It develops that Holda is a witch in search of a protégé to pass her powers-but who's demanding an unholy price in return.
