Kausar, Ayesha: - Prof. Dr. Ayesha Kausar is affiliated with the National Centre for Physics, Islamabad, Pakistan. Her current research interests include the design, fabrication, characterization, and exploration of structure-property relationships and potential applications of nanocomposites, polymeric composites/nanocomposites, nanoparticles/polymeric nanoparticles, quantum dots, nanocarbons (such as graphene, carbon nanotubes, nanodiamonds, fullerenes), inorganic/hybrid materials, nanofibers, and nano-foam architectures. Dr. Kausar has made extensive contributions to the fields of nanomaterials and materials science, with numerous scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals. She has authored multiple monographs on topics ranging from carbon nano-onions and graphene quantum dots to polymer-based nanocomposites and conducting polymer nanocomposites. Additionally, she has contributed chapters to a large number of international books and encyclopedias. Her work has been recognized in recent years by inclusion in the world's top 2% of scientists in materials science and nanotechnology, according to surveys conducted by Stanford University.
