Granny's Garden - Paperback

Lauren Plaskonos is a long-time resident of Fort Worth, Texas and a graduate of Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. As a child of military parents she traveled the world over, attending schools in Norway, England and Germany. It was during her travels that she became inspired by the world's artists and the power art has to communicate. Her artistic vision is to reflect spiritual beauty and hope. She has exhibited at Art on the Boulevard in Fort Worth, the American Embassy in Germany and the Porsche Club of America. As a graphic designer with Harvest Designs she won numerous ADDYs and worked on projects for UNiCEF, the Susan Komen Foundation, Pier 1 and Camp Fire Girls. Among her more interesting projects was the opportunity to design the UNiCEF pavilion for the 1984 World's Fair in New Orleans. She and her husband Keith have celebrated marriage since 1985 and have two children. They are also award winning musicians and have released a CD of traditional hammer dulcimer music.
