Good Riddance - Paperback

Gold Coast Detective Scotty Stephens receives news that Colin Webster, the father of his best friend, Tetley, has been arrested in the UK for a murder that took place thirty years ago.

During renovations of a listed property in the exclusive Park estate in Nottingham, the mummified body of a young woman is discovered hidden behind a wall. The structure, undisturbed since its erection, was built by Colin Webster.

Convinced of the innocence of the man who is like a father to him, Scotty travels to Nottingham and launches himself into the investigation, where he finds the entire case is hinging on the testimony of a single witness. But when he digs deeper and learns more about the victim and the circumstances of her death, a tapestry of deceit, that will pull him deep into the underworld of this historic city, slowly reveals itself.

Is the outcome of the case really a foregone conclusion as the police suggest? Or will the buried secrets that Scotty uncovers force the real killer into a desperate plight for survival?

Good Riddance is the fifth novel in the Gold Coast Detective Scotty Stephens series and is the latest in the line of standalone whodunnits-with a delicious twist at the end.
