Tom, Lawrence: - Lawrence Tom was born and raised in Marysville and is a graduate of CSUS. He studied in the management program at UCD. He was the comptroller and a career executive appointee with CALTRANS. He is the tour director for the Chinese American Museum of Northern California.

Brian Tom is the founder of the Asian American Studies program at UC Davis, a graduate of UC Berkeley and UC Davis and practiced law for more than twenty-five years. He is the founder and director of the Chinese American Museum of Northern California.
