While returning home from a trip, my husband of forty-four years experienced a massive heart attack driving down the highway. As we sat in the middle of the road, I could tell he was no longer breathing. Not knowing what to do, my mind immediately went back to 2 Chronicles 20:12. I begged God for help! Immediately, as I screamed that prayer, a highway patrolman knocked on my window-an angel from God. Throughout the next year, the Lord rode with us on the most emotional roller coaster I have ever experienced. Not one day did God ever leave us. This experience changed our lives forever, deepening our faith.
