About the Author Janet L. Willis

Janet Willis brings unique perspective and authenticity to this children's book. After losing six of her nine children in a van accident in 1994, she devoted years to studying Heaven and the New Jerusalem. Her research culminated in "What on Earth is Heaven Like?" (Third edition 2015), which received encouraging feedback that inspired her to create this simplified picture book version.

Janet served as a pastor's wife for 17 years, worked as a preschool teacher, and homeschooled her children. She and her husband Scott have shared their testimony of God's grace on The Today Show, 20/20, and Focus on the Family. Now retired, Janet uses her artistic talents to communicate biblical truths. She and Scott have been married over 50 years and are blessed with 34 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
