The idea of God as a husband is found in the Bible. In the Old Testament, the prophet Isaiah used this symbolism to describe God's feelings for His chosen people, Israel. Rest assured: He has the same feelings for you!

This verse refers to ancient Israel, but we can apply it to ourselves. He, indeed, is our Redeemer.

God is the answer for all of us. He absorbs our grief. He is our Protector and Friend. We need to run straight to Him and find true relief, salvation, peace, and contentment. A man cannot do that for you. Only God can.
