David and Michele both grew up in Christian homes and felt God's calling on their lives; however, it didn't mean ministry was going to be easy. Two kids, one from Texas and the other from Oklahoma, found themselves after 8 years of marriage driving down I-35 to a new church in Austin, TX. Little did they know the roller coaster ride they were getting on. The "yes" to do ministry was way easier than the follow through. Ministry involves people and sometimes...people are crazy. But soon they would learn that God is always IN THE CRAZY!
Every church leader has questioned themselves, at one point or another:
- How do we pay for this?
- Are people really going to show up?
- Is God really with me?
- Am I going to die doing this?
- Do I have what it takes?
In the end, there's really only one option: Facing the fear and doing it anyway! This book will take you inside the life of an optimistic couple who realized 6 crazy steps that would change everything in their ministry. This is the reality of ministry, the grunt work that is not Instagram worthy - or maybe it is.
So jump into the crazy, and learn what to do...and better yet, what NOT to do.
