"This Naxos version is played elegantly and affectionately, and the Moscow upper strings are full and warm as recorded. It does not lack life. But in seeking atmosphere, the playing creates a less than vibrant effect, although this is partly caused by Alexander Anissimov's tendency to luxuriant tempi"- Penguin Guide.
