The map includes contour lines, elevations, labeled peaks and summits, glaciers, water features, numbered Forest Service roads, selected waypoints and clear boundaries between wilderness and national forest land. Also provided are general background information, wilderness regulations, safety tips and essential contact information.
Every Trails Illustrated map is printed on "Backcountry Tough" waterproof, tear-resistant paper. A full UTM grid is printed on the map to aid with GPS navigation.
