In these poems, Alicja harnesses her striking abilities in ways that prepare the reader's mind for deeper reflection. She uses highly refined qualities of perception and insight, enabling us to conceptualise hitherto unconscious aspects of our experience, or to re-enter and explore areas that we have already formed.
