Mickey Gilley is a man who has more than paid his dues; this year he will attain his half-century, and for the better part of that time, he has been playing Country Music. Arguably, his famous (sometimes infamous) cousin - Jerry Lee Lewis - is one of the few survivors of the rock 'n' rolling fifties and sixties. But Gilley is more than a mere survivor. His stature has grown over the years into the full-rounded Star he is today.
