2017 release by the bluegrass duo. In The Ground is the 13th album released by the Gibson Bothers and their second for Rounder Records. All of the songs were either written or co-written by Eric and Leigh, marking their first album ever composed entirely of original material. As such, this record is their opportunity to find a deeper connection to their own identities as sons, brothers, family men, farmers, and artists, rather than narrating someone else's story by playing traditional tunes.
