Bev Orton is Lecturer in Criminology and Sociology, University of Hull, UK. Originally from South Africa and having worked with University of Cape Town and SWEAT as the External Expert on GlobalGrace, her interests include apartheid in South Africa, women's contribution to the political struggle, Restorative Justice and mothers and the decriminalising of sex workers in South Africa.
