L.A. tattoo artist/ex-con Jimmy Jayne (Devon Sawa) didn't think much of it when he gave a promotional lighter to the friendly hooker he'd chatted up at a bar. He'd have another think the next day, as he was rousted by LAPD cops Vargas (Luke Wilson) and Freeman (Bruce Willis)-because the woman and two colleagues were found murdered.
