Strange Travels

Strange Travels, the second Centaur release to feature composer Nancy Galbraith, include works for varying ensembles and solo piano. Ms. Galbraith's instrumental and vocal works are noted for their rich harmonic textures, rhythmic vitality, emotional and spiritual depth, and wide range of expression. Her significant contributions to contemporary across-the-board repertoire have assured Ms. Galbraith a leading role in defining the sound of contemporary classical music. A resident of Pittsburgh, PA, she is Prof. of Composition at prestigious Carnegie Mellon University.
