Frozen Fawn - Paperback

A fawn resting in a bed of snow hears gunshots in the distance. First, she is motionless. Then, she licks the approaching hunter's wrist. Surely, she could never bite back. Comprised of thirteen experimental poems written during the 100thanniversary of the First Manifesto of Surrealism, Frozen Fawn uses techniques, games, and epigraphs from the women surrealists-who have historically been overlooked in favor of their male counterparts-to explore the different trauma responses one might experience when staring down the barrel of misogyny, acephobia, and ableism.
