Dellasala, Anthony J.: - Anthony J. DellaSala, born on April 21, 1951, spent his early years in the South Oakland section of Pittsburgh before moving to the East Suburbs in 1955, where he still resides. He graduated with high honors from Penn Hills High School in 1969 and summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 1973. After 17 years of teaching English in the Penn Hills School District, where he was named Teacher of the Year in 1991, he took over the family pizza business established in 1959. Writing stories and plays has been Anthony's hobby for the past 20 years.
