Frode the Toad - Paperback

Originally from the East coast of the United States, Brandi eventually emigrated to Queensland Australia in 2016 where she met her husband Shane and gave birth to two boys, Cody & Jack.

In 2021 Brandi was diagnosed with TNBC (triple-negative breast cancer). Although she fought a hard battle, eventually she succumbed to the disease in 2025. But not before waging another battle with the Australian Health Care System where she almost single-handedly affected real change within the system, making it easier for future cancer patients to gain access to expensive medical treatments.

As it became clear that she might not win the cancer fight, Brandi wrote this book to secure her legacy with her boys, using Frodo, the family's French Bulldog / Jack Russell mix, as the main character.

We all miss Brandi.
