French Inheritance - Paperback

A mysterious inheritance in the South of France, a brooding winemaker, and a family full of secrets and surprises...

With a failed business and a broken heart, the last thing Elodie expects is a call from a French lawyer.

The grandfather she hadn't seen since she was three years old has passed away, leaving her an unexpected inheritance: a sprawling estate and winery nestled in the sun-drenched hills of Provence. Even more shocking, with this gift comes a family she never knew she had-three half-siblings by her estranged father who see her as nothing more than an intruder, eager to steal their legacy.

Elodie's first instinct is to run away-she doesn't belong here. But the more time she spends unraveling her family's complicated past, the more she longs to be part of it.

Remi, a brooding neighboring winemaker, had a rare soft spot for Elodie's grandfather. And he has no interest in seeing the estate fixed up and sold off to some foreign investor, which is exactly what he assumes Elodie plans to do.

However, as he sees her determination to restore the estate, his frosty exterior begins to thaw. Maybe their shared passion for the land will bring them closer. But renovating an estate in the French countryside is harder than it looks, and Elodie is still viewed as an outsider by the rest of the community.

Yet, surrounded by lavender, French wine, and a newly found family, Elodie can't help but wonder if this is exactly where she belongs.

French Inheritance is a feel-good escapist romance, perfect for fans of Emily Henry, Leonie Mack, and Carly Fortune.
