Cryoablation is a groundbreaking new treatment that freezes breast tumors while limiting the amount of healthy tissue removed from the breast. While this procedure has been used for many years on liver, skin, and cervical cancers, as well as benign tumors of the breast, only recently has cryoablation been adapted to successfully treat various forms of breast cancer. This book provides a clear picture of how cryoablation is performed and who are the best candidates for this procedure.
