Description
Details: At 22 years old, Frances Nero had the distinction of being the first female artist signed to Motown's Soul label in the mid-sixties. Unfortunately Frances' project was put on hold and she spent the next several years attending to family matters. In 1989 she was approached to become involved in British producer Ian Levine's massive Motown reunion project for his Motorcity Records label. As luck would have it, Frances recorded several fine tracks and ultimately scored the biggest hit for the label, the amazing Footsteps Following Me which subsequently became the Soul anthem of the 90's. This compilation represents the best of the Motorcity recordings. Digitally remastered.
