He has won awards at various European and American Film Festivals and received National and Regional Grants from the American Film Institute, the National Endowment and the Illinois Art Council. This collection of four films looks into the life of a deli owner in the Independent classic Jerry's Deli. The personal relationships of a high school student in Rita on the Ropes, a Chicago senior citizens' picnic in Enjoy Yourself (It's Later Than You Think, and a nostalgic look back to '60s Chicago in Down Clark Street.
