Clarinetist Jean-Marc Foltz grew up listening to Billie Holiday and dreamed of one day playing music with his idol. Eleanora Suite is his tribute to Holiday, a work that combines Foltz's classical training (the work's other inspiration is Robert Schumann's masterpiece Frauenliebe und Leben), and his love of jazz.
