Fixation - Paperback

When Fiadh "Fi" Fahey meets the aloof, eccentric artist Diederich Metzger at a Berlin nightclub, she can't help but find him curious. She's never been too interested in men, but he pursues her so aggressively-offering to whisk her away to his mansion in Berlin's wealthiest neighborhood-that she chalks it all up to a new adventure.

After all, she's made her stance perfectly clear: she likes women. And she won't deprive herself of what she craves.

Little does she know, there's something far more sinister beneath Diederich's grand gestures and sprawling gothic mansion in Grunewald. In the basement of Herthastra e 99, sometimes people go down, and they don't come back up.

When Fi gets tangled in a fling at one of Diederich's parties, she breaks the mansion's one unbreakable rule-and it costs her her freedom.

Diederich doesn't want a girlfriend. He's convinced Fi is his muse, the source of his artistic talent, and he will do anything in his power to keep her trapped. What follows is nearly a decade of captivity inside the mansion-a gilded cage of luxury and heartbreak, where the only people who might help her are as trapped as she is.

Fixation is a gothic, LGBTQIA horror novel that follows Fi's entrapment at Herthastra e 99, her relationship with Diederich, and her own struggles with generational trauma and mental health.

Unlike its predecessor, Predator & Prey, Fixation is not a love story. It's a dark descent into the twisted world of Herthastra e 99-the people who work there, and those trying so desperately to leave.
