Conceived and marketed more as a Pop than as a Jazz record, the original release included little information about personnel and extremely brief liner notes. For this reason, the exact personnel and instrumentation of the orchestra conducted by DeVol on Like Someone in Love remains unknown. Ted Nash is probably the alto saxophonist heard here and there playing behind Ella's vocals, and Stan Getz is definitely the tenor saxophonist heard soloing. Essential Jazz Classics. 2010.
