The day they realized their beloved Fungie wasn't coming back. The famous dolphin named Fungie who put Dingle on the map, was now gone forever and there was no looking back. Everyone was sad and the author wanted to give Fungie's story a happier ending. So she re-wrote his ending, as a new adventurous beginning.
