Embark on a captivating odyssey that unravels the intertwined narratives of art, recovery, and spiritual introspection. With raw emotion and poignant insights, the author bares the harrowing grip of alcoholism, setting the scene for an epic journey from the depths of despair to the peaks of self-discovery.

Art emerges as the central theme-a liberating force, a guide, and a therapeutic tool. Each chapter, reflective of a unique mixed media artwork, offers a multi-faceted exploration into the world of recovery. Each artwork shown is a piece of the author's soul, recounting tales of self-parenting, healing past traumas, and reclaiming a life once overshadowed by alcoholism.

But art isn't the sole protagonist here. The narrative dives deep into the author's spiritual approach to life. This spiritual underpinning, akin to a steady current in still waters, helps navigate the tumultuous phases of recovery. It speaks of faith, hope, and the indomitable human spirit that refuses to be confined by the chains of addiction.

The beauty of 'Finding Still Waters lies not just in its autobiographical authenticity but also in its universal message. It becomes a guide-a beacon-for those caught in the trap of addiction, pointing towards art as a vessel for healing, transformation, and, ultimately, a conscious recovery. The author's journey is a testament to the undying human spirit and the transformative power of art. It inspires readers to tap into their reservoirs of resilience, embrace their artistic inclinations, regardless of proficiency, and find healing in expression.

The reader is invited to walk beside the author, step by step, brushstroke by brushstroke, as they transition from the shadows of addiction into the luminous world of artistic and spiritual redemption. It's a narrative of redemption, resilience, and the profound intersections of art, spirituality, and recovery.

This book serves as a personal narrative and a manual for those seeking a path out of the darkness. In the stillness of art and meditation, one finds the strength to face the storm of addiction and, in doing so, discovers the still waters of conscious recovery.
