Synopsis: This book was written to help children learn to read with rhyming words. The book will also assist teachers in their efforts to teach children to read. The book is about a rat that lost his hat and how his friends came to help him. The book also has a moral message written within it. The moral message is help your friends in need no matter who or what they are.

Autobiography: I am a Veteran of the United States Air Force. I went to college where I was studying to become a teacher. An assignment I was given was to write and illustrate a rhyming book for children. The book I wrote and illustrated inspired me to try to do more and I succeeded in doing so.
