Fandom Through My Eyes: A Different Perspective - Paperback

Authors are often people who act bravely without notice, or someone who sacrifices themself for the good of the group, without recognition. As a sophomore at Curry College, Emma Keyes completed her first Novella entitled Fandom Through My Eyes: A Different Perspective. It thoughtfully captures the perspective of how this young woman perceives the world as neurodivergent. It depicts her compassion for the world and others, as well as a deep desire to be accepted and possibly understood, or at the very least validated. She uses different fandoms to build connections with the reader. Her work acknowledges that there is a plethora of unfounded fear and misinformation of Autism on the Internet and in pop culture.
