Enter the wonderfully whimsical world of Maria Trolle! This coloring book includes 77 all-new illustrations featuring fairy tales from around the world.
In Fairytale Worlds, Maria Trolle has drawn inspiration from classic folk tales, legends, and myths from all over the world, including Scandinavia, Europe, and Japan--as well as fairy tales from the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen. This fairy-tale world is populated by mysterious creatures, princes and princesses from our favorite childhood stories. Forty fairy tales are interpreted, and each illustration is accompanied by the title of the tale and its origin.
Here, the palace's pinnacles and towers sparkle, and thorn-filled clearings and deep leafy forests hold secrets and magic. Take a peaceful moment and enjoy the magnificent plant kingdom and all the magical figures and creatures found in Maria Trolle's world.
Maria Trolle is a graphic designer and illustrator living in Tyresö, outside Stockholm, Sweden. Her passion for gardening inspires her art, which is filled with plants, vegetables, flowers, and whimsical creatures of all kinds.
