Heffernan, Gloria: - Gloria Heffernan is the author of the poetry collection What the Gratitude List Said to the Bucket List (New York Quarterly Books), and the chapbooks Hail to the Symptom (Moonstone Press) and Some of Our Parts (Finishing Line Press). Her work has appeared in over 70 journals, including Anchor, Chautauqua, Magma (UK), Southword (Ireland), Stone Canoe, Columbia Review, and The Healing Muse. She holds an M.A. from New York University and teaches at Le Moyne College and the YMCA's Downtown Writers Center in Syracuse, New York. She lives in Syracuse with her husband, best friend, and first reader, Jim Heffernan.
