Excalibur is John Boorman's 1981 Arthur, all wet steel and green light, and the disc carries the commentary track he recorded for it.
Details
The whole cycle in one sitting: the sword, Merlin, the round table, the grail, the fall. Boorman compresses where most versions pick one act and stretch it.
Who it's for
Viewers who want the legend played straight and strange at once. Newcomers often report bouncing off the theatrical delivery early, then falling for it completely.
