4 Earth: Natural Sounds of Ocean Stream River Pond

Dean Evenson's beautiful DVD 4 EARTH features a collection of landscapes that he recorded near his home in the Cascade Mountain region. Each of the four segments features lush video footage, shot in True High Definition, of an ecologically different area. The program begins with the sweeping vistas of the Pacific Coast, as ocean waves roll and tumble amidst frolicking birds. Next, Evenson takes you high into the snowy peaks, where you encounter the windy quiet of the mountains as well as the rocky streams and waterfalls at the base of the mountains. From there you travel to a wide riverbed with briskly flowing waters, and onto a nearby forest. Finally, you explore a wetland area, nestled deep in the forest, where vibrant nature sounds mingle with aquatic plant life. Viewers have the option to play the scenes with natural ambience only, or accompanied by Evenson's gentle music (taken from various recordings). Also featured is a composite option, allowing you to view all four video feeds simultaneously, each in it's own window.
