Turner, David G.: - David G. Turner has lived in Eugene twice, first during the 1970s while earning a graduate degree in art history at the University of Oregon (UO) and again in 2003, when he returned to the UO Museum of Art. In between those times, he was a director of three art museums, and he currently teaches at UO. Eugene has many great collections of visual material, most notably the Lane County Historical Museum and University of Oregon Libraries, illustrating the unique diversity of the city s history in this book.
