When finds a woman floating in his path, barely keeping her head above water, he pulls her aboard and rushes to shore for medical help. She refuses to go to the hospital, insisting she remain dead. Confused by her request, George takes her to his cottage and nurses her back to health.

Once he learns her story, George insists he can help her rescue her daughter and bring her captor to justice. Having been abused for years, Emi doesn't trust easily but has no choice if she has any chance of saving her daughter.
