Embrace of the Serpent

In the depths of the Amazon rainforest, the last remaining member of an otherwise extinct tribe carries on the traditions of his people. This shaman, who goes by the name of Karamakate, teams up with two scientists who are on an intensive quest to find a plant that is fabled to have miraculous healing powers. The work is an all-consuming passion for the three of them, encompassing four decades of searching. In the end, will all of their looking for this legendary plant be worth the lifetime of effort?
