With a brother who died of schizophrenia and a mother whose forever residence is a mental health facility, Marta fears the mental illness in her family could be innate in her offspring. Obsessed and tormented by this fear, she keeps her disturbing family secret from her new husband. As the years go by, her obsessive, neurotic behavior causes problems in her marriage. And when her only son begins to sleepwalk and suffer night terrors, she fears this is a sign he has inherited the family illness. Little does she know that it is her own "delusions" that are what is causing all the turmoil & problems within her family circle.
